This is an easy, effective, and inexpensive way to increase the boost of your LB7 Duramax engine. Designed for 2001-2004 Duramax LB7 diesel engines, the Max Flow's Boost Increase Boost Increase Valve will improve engine performance and reduce those dreaded EGTs. Features: Increased boost means increased air flow Simple 5 minute Installation Reduces EGT?s Installs between turbocharger and wastegate 1-Year Warranty Fitment: 2001-2004 GM 6.6L LB7 Duramax Diesel Instructions: Step 1: Lift up the Air Resonator Cover and locate the hose connecting the Wastegate and the Turbo. Step 2: Cut about 3/4? off the center of the hose just in front of the Turbo, this is where the Boost Increase Valve will be placed. Step 3: Install Boost Increase Valve with arrows pointing towards the Wastegate. Step 4: Install (2) clamps, one on each side of the Boost Increase Valve.
